The Cobalt-Molybdenum Hydrodesulfurizatioin Catalyst SCST-311 is a composite catalyst with the carrier of γ-Al2O3 modified carbonization method and the active components of Co-Mo. This composite catalyst is used as the technology of catalytic cracking gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization with the low loss of gasoline octane value.

The main reactions are as follows:

RSH + H₂ → RH + H₂S

R₁SR₂ + 2H₂ → R₁H-R₂H + H₂S

C₄H₄S + 4H₂ → C₄H₁₀ + H₂S

COS + H₂ → CO + H₂S

CS₂ + 4H₂ → CH₄ + 2H₂S

Industrial Applications

The catalyst is suitable for removing of organic sulfur in natural gas, light hydrocarbons, etc, at ammonia plant, methanol plant, refinery plant and ammonification plant;

The catalyst is suitable for hydrodesulfurization of light petroleum.

Operation temperature: 250 ~ 450℃

Operation pressure: normal ~ 6Mpa

Space velocity of feed gas: 1000 ~ 2000h-1(g); 2 ~ 4h-1(l)

Conversion rate: ≥ 95%
