Performance characteristics:

 

1. This product is an aluminum strontium intermediate alloy containing 9.0-11.0% strontium, with excellent microstructure and a new type of excellent long-term modifier. This product optimizes the morphology and distribution of eutectic silicon, improving mechanical properties.

 

2. This product is easy to use, pollution-free, with minimal wear and tear, and has a long-lasting effect. The effect of remelting and spoilage can be inherited.

 

Applicable scope:

 

This product is suitable for modification treatment of hypoeutectic and eutectic aluminum silicon alloys with longer pouring time.

 

Usage:

 

1. Bake and dry before use.

 

2. Addition temperature: 720-760 ℃.

 

3. The addition amount of this product: residual 0.02~0.06% Sr in aluminum liquid will have varying degrees of modification effects on different alloys, and the economic dosage will be determined by experiments. The reference dosage for this product is 0.2-0.6% of the amount of aluminum (new material) to be processed. Strontium is still effective in the returned material and will not be added.

 

4. Effective time for deterioration: 4-8 hours.

 

5. Operation method: Add rod shaped alloy modifier to the aluminum liquid, melt and stir evenly; After standing for 20 minutes, remove the slag and pour the test bar. When the fracture inspection is normal, pour it.

 

6. Fracture inspection: dimensions of test bars in front of the furnace Φ twelve × 100. The normal fracture surface is silver white velvet like, with fine and uniform grains and no silicon highlights.

 

7. Metamorphic treatment is generally carried out after refining, and further refining is not necessary to avoid affecting the metamorphic effect.
