The new ceramic material has natural chemical adsorption(affinity) ability to the oxide, adsorbing impurities in the molten metal on the inner wall of the hole(including particles smaller than the pore size), improving the filtration effect; advanced extrusion production process make the ceramic filter has a unique square and triangular design, which increases the contact area with the ceramic, improves the ability of the filter to adsorb and capture fine impurities, and has better filtering effect than the non-extrusion filter, and the metal liquid flows smoothly; The casting speed and continuity reduce the casting rejection rate, improve the mechanical properties of the casting and prolong the service life.
The best filter materials: mullite, cordierite, highalumina, silicon carbide and so on.
Instructions
(1)Place the ceramic ceramic filter in the sprue cup or at the bottom of the sprue.
(2)Place the ceramic ceramic filter horizontally on the runner to make the molten metal fill smoothly, avoid direct impact on the ceramic ceramic filter or vertically placed on the runner, the metal liquid flow rate is fast with a good shape ability.
(3) The size of the honeycomb ceramic filter is based on factors such as molding, melting and the characteristics of the filter itself.
(4)The casting indenter should be controlled as much as possible to reduce the impact of the molten metal on the honeycomb ceramic filter.(5)Honeycomb ceramic filter should not be used over temperature.(6)Avoid using honeycomb ceramic filters to control the casting speed.
